Preview: Ellen and BT go to the Padre game
This weekend marks a milestone in the lives of Ellen and her cousin Bryan, AKA "BT", as it was their first Padre game!! I plan to post a blow by blow of the entire experience but in the interim here is a picture of the two after the game once we had returned home.
As a teaser for you fans of Ellen's World to keep you coming back. Ellen and BT ran the bases after the game, all of which Mommy caught on tape. Including Ellen touching home plate!! If only the Padres could have pushed Ellen and BT across the plate during the game the outcome would have been a little more satisfying. However, Ellen's smiles on the way home made Daddy quickly forget the loss. Go Padres!

Ran the bases!!!??? What are you, Lost, Heroes?? Mr. Wait til Next Episode???? Now I have to check in at least every hour to see the upcoming pics/vids.
ReplyDeleteI'll spare you some trouble. Try back in couple days because it way take me a little while.
ReplyDeleteConsider this pay back for what those shows do to me. Speaking of which, did you see the Sapranos the other night? You kidding me with that ending....?!??!
i liked the Sopranos ending. The only other ending that would have worked would be Tony dropping dead after choking on genoa salami with provolone and vinegared pepper sandwich while yelling at Anthony about being such a liitle sh--head. (edited version on Ellen's world)
ReplyDeleteMaybe the ending itself wasn't all that bad and maybe it did stay true to the story, but the final episode itself was not as tight and clean as I hoped it would be. I was very dissatisfied with how they handled AJ's character. But I digress, still enjoyable just a very different ending than most HBO series' (i.e. Six Feet Under, Sex And City; so I've heard, not that I watched the latter)
ReplyDeleteWell you've missed out on one of the all-time greatest endings of a series. (Sex in the City that is. Six Feet Under's ending is THE greatest of all time). Anyway, back to SATC's ending... All the girls live happily ever after, and we finally find out that Mr. Big's name is John. But they left it wide open for a movie too, which I hear is in the works. BTW, I also heard on E News that there's already talks of a Soprano's movie. Of course, David Chase would probably say "Fuggedaboutit!" to that.
ReplyDeleteRegardless, there is 86 hours of the series that we can now look forward to rewatching. Yippie!
