Andrew's 4 Month Appointment

Andrew had his 4 month check up with Dr. Sacker on Monday.  Everything went well and Dr Sacker gave the go ahead for solids.  We started with rice cereal the very next night and by the 3rd day he is mastering the art of eating from spoon quite well.  I remember Ellen being a much sloppier eater at this stage.  I suppose it could also be that both Ellen and us were rookies the first go around.

As for his statistics they are as follows.

• Height 25 inches
• Weight 12 lbs 8 oz

He's 70th percentile for height and 25th percentile for weight.  Which may be a tad low but he's up percentiles from his last check up.  Like his old man he's tall and lean already.  For comparison here is Ellen's post from her 4 month check up.  Finally, we've had great success with Andrew sleeping through the night the last couple evenings.  In fact he's sleeping better than Ellen thanks to fever, cough and cold Ellen has recently contracted.
