Happy Halloween

The Great Chicken wishes everyone a Happy Halloween! Ellen has been under the weather as of late, as have the rest of the family. We may still manage to take the chicken out to a few select homes for her first go at trick and treating.

Don't tell Ellen chickens can't fly. That didn't stop her from flapping her arms in her costume.

Ellen Crawls

Ellen has become mobile! It might not be the most eloquent display of crawling you've seen but it gets her from point A to B.

CHEESE!!!!

Kathleen snapped this shot the other night while Ellen flashed all 8 of her pearly whites.
With the lack of updates lately I've included this link to a full set of photos. I hope to get some video up shortly of Ellen during her version of "crawling". Enjoy!

Ellen and Claire

In what maybe Ellen and Claire's last day together at daycare Clista was kind enough to capture this picture of the two of them together. They really look like best buds!

Peanut

Captured this image over the weekend on my camera phone. As you'll notice Ellen is wearing her Peanut onesie that Grandpa crafted himself online.

Still not crawling but she has mastered the technique of feeding herself. Over the weekend she had lots of Cheerios, cantaloupe, bananas, a few strawberries and a little popcorn. She is not so keen on the strawberries just yet.

Photo Dump

I've been lagging lately but I got good reason. This week marked the end of another quarter, two more classes down, several more to go. Anyway, to make up for my lack of posts and updates on Ellen, which there are many, here is a photo dump from our camera. Lots of stuff here including more images from our trip to Florida and as well as the recent landscaping project, which is a work in progress. Things already look different than they do in these images. More to come later.

Biggest news! Ellen has mastered the pincher technique and can now grasp Cheerios and feed herself! She only has rate of success of 1 in 2 which Gypsy is more than happy to clean up when it hits the floor.
