Our friend Aki sent me this link to a German website that allows users to create their own likeness using Southpark features. I couldn't resist.

Even though little Ellen might look more like me in this rendering, she really does look more like her mother in the flesh.

Month Six Checkup

This morning Ellen saw Dr. Sacker where we learned she is now in the 90th and 50th percentile for height and weight, respectively. Here are the numbers.

• 14lbs 13ozs
• 26"

That's a whole 4 lbs heavier and 3 inches taller from the month 4 checkup. What was the difference you ask? Solids, a little formula and a good nights sleep!

Swimsuit Edition

Hello Ellen's World fans!! Earlier this month Ellen and her friends Claire and Curren all got together for the 4th of July for a little BBQ and pool side fun. Before heading out to the water the girls showed off their new swim wear.

Is it just me or does that big toe on Ellen look pretty lengthy?!

WEE!!

In preparation of our trip to Florida next month, Ellen tried on her Wee Shades and her Wee Hat which she hopefully get lots of use out of while lounging on the beach.

Shopping

This weekend Mom did a little shopping for herself as Ellen and I entertained ourselves while staying close by. So what did we do......... here is a little snippet of our day.

YEEAAHH!!!

Clista was kind enough to forward this great picture she captured of Ellen while she was at daycare. I don't think I've been able to catch Ellen with such happy face myself. She tends to get distracted by the camera when you pull it out.
She is really getting big these days! Six months old next week!

Ellen Eating Quickly

Ellen has really taken to eating solids quite well. Once you get a good rhythm going she can kill a bowl relatively quick. Here is video I captured while Ellen ate and talked while eating one of her favorites, carrots.

Hangin with Claire

Claire's parents were kind enough to invite the Crain Family over for dinner on Saturday night. Giving Ellen and Claire the opportunity to spend some quality time together. Claire entertained everyone with her giggles while Ellen took it all in like most of us. A great time was had by all and on the way home Ellen crashed hard. After we got home we slipped her into the crib following a little snack before bed and she went down without a whimper. Oh yeah, Ellen has been sleeping in her crib in her own room now since Friday. So far so good...
